Thy mercy my God is the theme of my song
the joy of my heart and the boast of my tongue
thy free grace alone from the first to the last
hath won my affection and bound my soul fast

Without they sweet mercy I could not live here
sin would reduce me to utter despare
but through thy free goodness my spirits revived
and he that first made me so keeps me alive

Thy mercy is more than a match for my heart
which wonders to feel it's heartless depart
dissolved by thy goodness I fall to the ground
and weep for the praise of the mercy I've found

Great father of mercies,thy goodness I own
and the covenant love of thy crucified son
all praise to the spirit whose whisper divine
seals mercy and pardon and righteousness mine

O what matchless condescension the eternal God displays, Claiming our supreme attention To his boundles works and ways; his own glory he reveals in gospel days

in the person of the saviour all his majesty is seen.
love and justice shine for ever;
and without a veil between,
we approach him and rejoice in his dear name

Would we view his highest glory here it shines in jesus' face
sing and tel the pleasing story,
O ye sinners saved by grace;
and with pleasure
bid the guilty him embrace

in his highest work, redemption see his glory in a blaze; Nor can angels ever mention aught that more of God displays
Grace and justice
Here unite to endless days

true tis sweet and solemn pleasure
God to view in Christ the lord
Here He smiles and smiles for ever
may my soul his name record
and his wonders spread abroad

I have 2 songs

A THOUSAND TONGUES

Glory to the Lamb
Whose throne forever reigns
God in the highest
Worthy to merit our praise

Chorus:
O for a thousand tongues to sing
Praises unto Thee
O for a thousand hand to raise
In honor to the King

We crown you with singing
Our lips shall utter Your praise
In humble adoration
In endless refrain

(repeat chorus)

*****
BREATHE/REIGN IN ME

You are the air I breathe
You are the air I breathe
Your Holy Spirit living in me

You are my daily bread
You are my daily bread
Your Holy Word written for me

And I’m, I’m desperate for you
And I’d, I’d be lost without you

So reign in me – Reign in Your Power
Over all my dreams – in my darkest hour
You are the Lord of all I am
So won’t You reign in me again!

Over all the earth you reign on high
Every mountain stream, every sunset sky
But my one request, Lord, my only aim
Is that You reign in me again!

Over every thought, over every word
May my life reflect the beauty of You, Lord
You mean more to me than any earthly thing
So won’t You reign in me again!

You are the air I breathe
You are the air I breathe
Your Holy Spirit living in me

You are my daily bread
You are my daily bread
Your Holy Word written for me

And I’m, I’m desperate for you
And I’d, I’d be lost without you

So reign in me – Reign in Your Power
Over all my dreams – in my darkest hour
You are the Lord of all I am
So won’t You reign in me again!
Yes, reign in me again!
PLEASE reign in me again!!

Ten Thousand Times Ten Thousand

Ten thousand times ten thousand in sparkling raiment bright,
The armies of the ransomed saints throng up the steeps of light;
’Tis finished, all is finished, their fight with death and sin;
Fling open wide the golden gates, and let the victors in.

What rush of alleluias fills all the earth and sky!
What ringing of a thousand harps bespeaks the triumph nigh!
O day, for which creation and all its tribes were made;
O joy, for all its former woes a thousandfold repaid!

O then what raptured greetings on Canaan’s happy shore;
What knitting severed friendships up, where partings are no more!
Then eyes with joy shall sparkle, that brimmed with tears of late;
Orphans no longer fatherless, nor widows desolate.

Bring near Thy great salvation, Thou Lamb for sinners slain;
Fill up the roll of Thine elect, then take Thy power, and reign;
Appear, Desire of nations, Thine exiles long for home;
Show in the heaven Thy promised sign; Thou Prince and Savior, come.

When I Survey

When I survey the wondrous cross
On which the Prince of glory died,
My richest gain I count but loss,
And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,
Save in the death of Christ my God!
All the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to His blood.

See from His head, His hands, His feet,
Sorrow and love flow mingled down!
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,
Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

His dying crimson, like a robe,
Spreads o’er His body on the tree;
Then I am dead to all the globe,
And all the globe is dead to me.

Were the whole realm of nature mine,
That were a present far too small;
Love so amazing, so divine,
Demands my soul, my life, my all.
